myStore advertising is a brand new feature we have added to www.pricescompare.co.uk to offer better value and improved advertising features for internet retailers. We use the latest technologies and make every effort to fully optimise every aspect of our sites to make them as fast and user friendly as possible.
At the present time our advertising options are limited to creating a White Label myStore account. We will however be adding PPC (pay per click) banner and text advertising options in the next few months. We have tried as much as possible to keep the pricing structure both affordable and simple, as we hope you agree!
There are two myStore Store Type options available within the White Label site, which are Domain and Subcategory. When applying for an account you will be required to give details of the domain or subcategory you would like your new store to appear on. Both options have the same Benefits and myStore Features all of which are detailed below.
Domain or Subcategory?
If you have a domain name in mind which is relevant to the products you are advertising and would like to have a "stand alone" site then this is the option for you. If you don't and would like us to do this for you, then the subcategory option is for you. This is a personal choice and you will still benefit from cost effective and professional online advertising which ever option you decide on.
What does it cost?
£100 per year, payable in advance for 2000 products or less (please contact us if you have more products). This includes all setup costs, hosting and bandwith charges and is non-refundable. This cost does not include annual domain name renewal fees.
What do I need? Once your account has been set up, you will be able to log into the Merchant Admin section of your new myStore website. This is where you will be able to upload your datafile. Most formats are acceptable but a valid XML feed is generally the best option. Data feed files used for uk.shopping.com, kelkoo.co.uk, Google Base or any other price comparison site may also be used. The following data is required (with no exceptions as it will lead to inconsistency within our sites): -
Further fields can be included and used on the site such as EAN, Gender and Colour etc.
Your existing site must have a privacy policy, about us page and contact page which we will link to from the new site. These may all be on the same or separate pages within your own site or we can create the relevant pages for you. In addition to this we ask that you place a link on your top level domain pointing to http://mystore.pricescompare.co.uk/
Can I customise my Site?
Yes - certain aspects of the site can be customised. Up to five menu links along the top of every page can be used to link to pages of your choice for example, a blog or forum. The colour palette of your new site can also be altered to suit your needs - simply email us details of requirements and we'll do the changes! If you wish to replace your store name text with a logo, please ensure it is no bigger than 400 x 70.
